Rebuild of Restaurant Location Brings Updated Look with Well-Known Menu
PORTSMOUTH, VA. (JUNE 24, 2020) – The “new’ Hardee’s® in Portsmouth opens bright and early on Tuesday, June 30th right in the same spot as the ‘old’ Hardee’s.
The new Hardee’s is at 5705 Portsmouth Blvd. where the previous Hardee’s was closed late last year to make way for construction of its replacement. The new restaurant features the same popular menu of Made From ScratchTM Breakfast Biscuits, a delicious range of Black Angus charbroiled Thickburgers®, the new Hardee’s Star Burger lineup, tasty Hand-Breaded Chicken TendersTM and delicious Fresh Fried Chicken.
The new Hardee’s seats up to 72 guests (with limited dining-in currently) and has a distinctive contemporary look with the latest “retro” Hardee’s restaurant design and digital menu boards in the counter area and for drive-thru. The restaurant also features free wi-fi service. The restaurant employs about 55 workers plus several managers.
As before, the new Hardee’s will be open seven days a week with drive-thru service and now includes delivery in partnership with Door Dash. The hours of the restaurant will be 5 a.m. through 10 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This reopened Hardee’s is one of 181 Hardee’s locations in Virginia and 345 Hardee’s across four states operated by family-owned Boddie-Noell. The company has been a Hardee’s franchise operator for 58 years and is the largest Hardee’s franchisee in the United States.
