Sandra Ballard brings a unique insider’s perspective to her role as Recruitment Manager. With 29 years of Hardee’s operations experience, Sandra has developed an in-depth understanding of quick-service restaurant recruiting needs. Sandra began her career like many members of the Boddie-Noell family, as a teenage cashier at Hardee’s. She rose within the company to Breakfast Manager by age 18, followed by Assistant Manager, General Manger and, finally, Senior General Manager. Now as a Recruitment Manager, Sandra finds joy in matching each restaurant’s recruitment needs with top candidates who represent the culture, vision and values of Boddie-Noell.

Melissa Martin joined Boddie-Noell Enterprises as a Recruitment Manager in 2016, bringing with her 28 years of recruitment and consulting experience. Melissa’s innovative “outside of the box” thinking provides her unique opportunities to positively change people’s lives by matching candidates with positions that fit each individual perfectly. Prior to joining Boddie-Noell, Melissa successfully built and led her own firm, recruiting mid-to-senior level executives across the country for large retail and e-commerce businesses including Amazon.
Gwen Nicholson

Gwen is a dedicated manager with strong work ethic and the ability to build up a business and have successful growth. She is a former General Manager with Boddie-Noell Enterprises for 10 years with more than 30 years of diversified management, leadership experience and a service-oriented mindset. Extensive education, experience and development training in restaurant management, employee development, profit building, and customer focus.
Self-motivated, and thrive on success personally and as a team. With a primary focus throughout her career, the development of individuals and the team by modeling, training at all levels, setting high expectations and yielding outstanding results.
Gwen is a former class room teacher, forever a teacher at heart, inspiring the development of people, as an opportunity to teach life skills. She continues to empower and motivate individuals, in her current role as Recruitment Manager, and takes pride in ensuring that placements are a strong match for all parties, with the goal of fitting candidates with careers not jobs.

Charon is a dynamic human resources professional well-versed in multiple HR functions. She has garnered more than 10 years of administration and human resources experience with a demonstrated ability to source and identify superior talent across multiple lines of business. She holds a Bachelor of Science in General Science and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management.
Charon is skilled at cultivating and maintaining successful business relationships and takes pride in going the extra mile for her hiring managers. She has a proven track record of consistently exceeding goals and expectations by putting her business partners needs first. With a keen eye for top talent, her goal as Recruitment Manager with Boddie-Noell is to accentuate organization philosophy to hire the “right” people for the “right” position across all lines of business.
